morgan
about me:
- I am the co-founder and developer of Roboteer.
- We're bootstrapped (self-funded) and I work part time on it so I have time to do other fun things.
- Despite being the technical founder, I am heavily involved in growth (as all people who start companies probably should be).
- MRR revenue model with <2% churn.
- Profitable (just about).
- Trying our best to build a calm company.
- I do a bit of consulting too, as a product manager, developer and on startup growth.
- Before all this, I worked for Shepper, University of Cambridge, Paysafe and others.
- I've worked in sales, ops, development, business analysis and product management roles in software companies.
- I'm studying Philosophy part time in the academic year 24-25. I'm a noob, but am particularly interested in:
- Ethics (specifically around AI and other emerging technologies regarding the impact on job displacement).
- Philosophy of Action.
- Philosophy of Technology.
- I compete in powerlifting and am a national champion in equipped (warning: volume) bench press.
services:
- consulting - product management and startup growth.
- startup help - if you have a startup idea, are an early stage startup founder or product manager and need help with something, get in touch. I'm happy to have a chat.
- mentorship - mentorcruise have been kind enough to onboard me as a product mentor.
now:
- what is a now page/section?
- Last updated 7th December 2024.
- Consulting as both a product manager and developer for Hyphenate, a US-based generative AI startup.
- Getting very close to launching a new SaaS product as an offshoot of Roboteer.
- I'm now on Telegram: @productmorgan. Did you know Telegram is getting around 2m signups a day?. Their dev team is also super active.
- Health wise I'm working hard on improving my Vo2 max using some of Peter Attia's methods (but as of yet haven't bought anything from him).
- Recently completed the NC500 roadtrip around Scotland. 10/10 would recommend.
