about me:
- I work as a product owner.
- I'm studying Philosophy part-time. Primarily interested in normative ethics and metaphysics (specifically identity) atm. Also interested in philosophy of technology.
- Previously, I worked for Shepper, Paysafe, and was the founding product manager at Roboteer.
- I've worked in sales, ops, development, business analysis and product management roles in software companies. This is quite a rare mix.
- I learnt to code before LLM's were a thing and my code is in production. Skilled in python, AWS, serverless architectures and IAC (terraform, cloudformation).
- I am very passionate about free software and am actively contributing to open source projects in the python ecosystem. Please contact me if you have an open source project that I might be able to contribute to.
- I used to compete in powerlifting and am a national champion in equipped (warning: volume) bench press.
- Here is my take on agile stuff.
now:
- what is a now page/section?
- Last updated 15th May 2026.
- Passed the Hashicorp Certified Terraform Associate exam.
- Reading The Social Contract by Jean Jacques Rousseau.
- I'm reading more of Extreme Programming (XP)'s website. I find it to be like the last bastion of proper agile, before the others started to try and sell us stuff.
- Slightly obsessed with Sans Beanstalk.
